Steven Fair, sculptor of limited edition bronzes, featuring North American Wildlife, Big Game Animals, Waterfowl, Game Birds, Marine Birds, Marine Animals, Native Americans and Human Beings. Steven began sculpting in 1978 as one of the first antler and horn carvers in Alaska.

Since 1992 Steve has focused solely on limited edition bronze sculptures. His first dream was of producing a 1/5-life size series of proportional scale wildlife sculptures. Ten 1/5-life size pieces have been completed to date. Steven was honored when Dave Bartholet asked him to assist on a mural for the Toppenish Mural Society which was completed July 2003.

Steven was born in Roseburg Oregon in 1950 and grew up on the banks of the South Umpqua River in the famous 100 valleys of the Umpqua. He is fifth generation to the Oregon country and a Son of the Revolution. Educated as a scientist studying Zoology, Steven draws on nearly fifty years of life experience in the Northwest and Alaska to portray the subtly of Elk, Eagles, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Moose, Otters, Puffins, Cougar, Mountain Lions, Pronghorn, Antelope, Geese, Ducks, Turkeys, Trout, Grizzly Bears, Polar Bears, Caribou, Rocky Mountain Sheep, Cormorants, and Herons in bronze.
   With the many different places Steven has lived he has had the ability to study all aspects of animal life, his bronze art not only includes wildlife but livestock as well. His works include bronze Horses, Texas Longhorns and other fine art bronzes of man including bronzes of Indian Culture.
   Steven is a self-taught "educated" artist, drawing upon the experiences of life and zoology.
